CF01G Inverter Guide: Voltage, Compressor Speed and Thermal Limits
The CF01G manual supplied here is June 2025, Version 00. Its specifications distinguish the electrical variant, compressor family and installation conditions. Reading those fields together is more useful than treating CF01G as a universal board number.
Start with the supply variant
The nominal-input table assigns 115-127 V to L and 220-240 V to M/W configurations, at 50/60 Hz. It gives different maximum-input-current entries for those groups and a 150 W maximum input-power entry for the family. Those input figures should not be copied into an output rating or a cooling-capacity claim. [Source 2, PDF p. 5.]
The notes distinguish nominal supply, minimum input, maximum operating voltage and overvoltage conditions. An overvoltage survival figure is not a recommendation to operate continuously at that value. A comparison sheet should preserve the labels, not display every voltage as an equivalent allowable supply.
Do not borrow another compressor's speed range
For FMX/VEX applications, the table lists 1,300-4,000 rpm; VES and FMS have their own rows. The notes further require checking the specific compressor datasheet. The presence of a larger range elsewhere in the table does not extend the selected compressor's approved operating range. [Source 2, PDF pp. 5-6.]
This is especially relevant when reusing data from a different CF generation. A family resemblance does not establish identical firmware, compressor matching or speed limits.
Thermal conditions need a defined measurement location
The general table includes an operating-temperature range, but the notes tie permissible conditions to input power and a defined ambient measurement location near the inverter. A cabinet's room-temperature reading is not automatically the same measurement. Ventilation and component placement therefore belong in the application review. [Source 2, PDF pp. 5-8.]
If thermal protection occurs, do not assume that replacing the electronics alone fixes the cause. The installation, load and compressor application may need evaluation under the equipment's service procedure.
Standby and discharge features are configuration questions
The manual distinguishes control-dependent sleep/standby behavior. It also describes discharge-circuit solutions that may be configured for an application. Neither a standby number nor the presence of a discharge option proves that every supplied CF01G unit has the same configuration. [Source 2, PDF pp. 5-6 and section 2.7.]
Before purchase, obtain the exact SKU, original and proposed labels, approved compressor pairing and control configuration. Ask which installation and protection features apply to the delivered item. This produces a traceable selection instead of an assumption based on the CF01G headline.
CF01G should not be represented as a verified replacement for the store's VCC3 listing. Internal electrical work and discharge verification require qualified service procedures; this article provides no live test or wiring shortcut.
