W11455232 Makes Ice but Will Not Dispense: Separate the Two Systems
An ice maker that produces cubes and a dispenser that delivers them are related but different parts of the refrigerator's operation. If ice is present in the bin but does not dispense, do not automatically replace W11455232.
Identify the failed stage
Record whether fresh ice reaches the bin, whether the complaint concerns dispensing, and what happens during a normal request. Note any sound or display message without reaching into a powered dispenser or mechanism.
If the refrigerator has no relevant dispenser function, do not apply dispenser troubleshooting from another platform. Use the complete-model owner's manual to identify the system actually fitted.
Check normal user conditions
Follow the manual for bin placement, dispenser controls and accessible obstructions. Do not insert tools into moving parts or defeat a door interlock to observe operation. Stop if the bin or mechanism is damaged or water is leaking.
Describe stored ice condition separately from new production. Ice present from an earlier batch does not prove that current production is normal, so record both observations when possible.
Order the part associated with the diagnosis
A technician can distinguish an ice-production fault from a bin, dispenser, drive or control issue using the model's procedure. Give the full model and the stage-specific observations rather than reporting only “ice not working.”
If the ice-maker assembly is diagnosed, confirm W11455232 in the parts diagram and compare its connector and mounting arrangement. A correctly functioning new ice maker will not automatically repair a separate dispensing fault. Judge the repair against the original failed stage as well as overall normal operation.
Product reference

Compare the W11455232 listing and product photographs with the complete appliance model before ordering. A symptom or similar appearance alone does not establish compatibility.
